Mennonite Mirror
Description
Winnipeg, MB. 1971–1990.
The Mennonite Mirror was published 1971–1990 with ten issues a year. It described itself as an inter-Mennonite news magazine for the Mennonite community of Winnipeg and Manitoba. Its aim was to “make us reacquainted with each other and with the institutions that we have created.” While primarily in the English language, the magazine also had a regular German language section. The magazine was edited by Roy Vogt and the managing editor was Edward Wieler. After the close of the magazine, ownership was assumed by the Mennonite Literary Society.
The Centre for Mennonite Brethren Studies, in partnership with the Mennonite Literary Society has scanned all issues of this paper and made them searchable. Thank you to the Plett Foundation for its support of this project. Please note that copyright of the articles remains with the writer.
