Voice, The (MBBC, Winnipeg)
Description
Winnipeg, MB. 1952–1971.
Mennonite Brethren Bible College (MBBC) was the flagship Bible college for Canadian Mennonite Brethren in the second half of the 20th century. Located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, it published the journal The Voice as a way of discussing important issues that the Mennonite Brethren church faced from 1952–1971. It was preceded by The Harbinger (1945–1946) and The Olive Leaf (1946–1951). Articles in The Voice appear in German or English. The role of this journal was taken over by Direction in 1972 (see collection of Direction at www.directionjournal.org).
This digitization project was made possible by the financial support of the Government of Canada through Library and Archives Canada, and administered by the Canadian Council of Archives.
Links to digital reproductions (PDF) of the entire collection of The Voice are located in the table below. There is an index for the 1952–1967 issues at the bottom of the list.
