Administrative History
The Manitoba Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches began exploring planting a congregation in the northeastern part of Winnipeg in 1981. Over the few years many meetings were held to explore the possibilities. In 1984, a chartering service was held with 19 charter members. The congregation met in rented facilities. The congregation grew slowly until 1994. It then merged with the Northdale Mennonite Church in 1995 to become the Jubilee Mennonite Church, dually affiliated with Mennonite Church Canada and the Canadian Conference Mennonite Brethren Church.
The leaders of the congregation were: Clarence Braun (1986–1990), Jake Bergen (1991), Gary Andres (1992–1993), John Epp (1994–1995), Siegfried Wall (1995–2001).
The language of worship is English.
