Administrative History

In 2004, the West Portal Church decided to plant a church by "tithing" 10% of the congregation and one full time pastor. In 2005, Pastor Andrew Fehr and 62 charter members held the first service September 25, 2005. In 2005, they purchased the Rock of Ages Lutheran Church and took possession of the facility in 2006. The congregation joined the Saskatchewan Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches in March 2006 and received financial support from the Saskatchewan MB Conference Board of Church Extension until 31 December 2006.

In 2010, the congregation had 76 members.

The church leaders have been Andrew Fehr (2005–2013), James Penner (2014–2016), Michael Anderson (2016– ).
