Mennonite Reporter

Description

Waterloo, ON: Bi-weekly. 1953–1997.

The Mennonite Reporter (also known as the Canadian Mennonite Reporter) was published bi-weekly by the Mennonite Publishing Service, Waterloo, Ontario, from 1971-1997. This English language paper sought to inform Canadian Mennonites about what was happening in the Canadian Mennonite community.  Its primary audience was the General Conference Mennonite constituency, stretching primarily from Ontario to British Columbia.  This group of churches is now generally known as  Mennonite Church Canada.  In 1997, the paper changed format and was named Canadian Mennonite.  The Mennonite Reporter's predecessor was The Canadian Mennonite 1953-1970.

The index was made available thanks to Centre for Mennonite Brethren Studies volunteer Kathie Ewert.
