Administrative History

The North Kildonan Funeral Aid Society of the Mennonite and German Settlers of Manitoba was organized in [1937?]. It was established to assist families experiencing the death of a loved one, by providing money to help cover funeral expenses. Membership was reserved for Mennonites and Germans, along with their relatives. The society was funded by membership fees and premiums. The society dissolved ca. 1996.

Scope and Content

This fonds consists of primarily of records related to the Society’s annual general meetings, membership lists, and constitutions.
